job hunting
just in case any of you were wondering, hunting for jobs really sucks. i mean, really really sucks. in denver it goes something like this:
get up.
shower.
walk 20 minutes into downtown.
be sweaty.
look dissheveled.
tell someone that i just moved to denver (as if they didn't know that by the accent) and am looking for a job.
ask if they have an application or know of any positions available.
get funny looks b/c you're a sweaty Arkansan.
leave.
go to the next place.
repeat steps above.
get frustrated.
go back and look for more jobs on craigslist.
repeat steps above for days on end.
but it's all good. i mean, i can see the Rockies from here, right?

Don't be disheartened. Keep the faith. There aren't many things better than being a sweaty Arkansan.
yeah, that might give you some insight into why i only made it 11 days (or however many--i know, i was a big wuss), only i was looking for a place to live. good luck, and have fun.
